Our programs are the key to success. Your organization needs to be involved and
active with the Chamber if at all possible. The Chamber is the best place to create
and build relationships with potential clients, referral partners, vendors and customers
essential to your business growth and economy.
There are many benefits the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce can offer to our members:
- Referrals: Chamber members are recommended in response to requests
on the availability of specific types of goods and/or services. Thousands of
people visit and phone the Chamber each year in search of reputable firms with
which to do business
- Chamber Blue: Group Health insurance is offered to members through
Oklahoma Blue Cross/Blue Shield at a very competitive rate.
- Visitor Information Center: members are encouraged and invited to
display brochures describing their goods and services in the Chamber lobby as
a resource for newcomers and visitors.
- Membership Listing: A listing of Chamber members is free to members.
Mailing labels can be purchased at a nominal charge.
- Area Map: Maps of the Ada Area and Pontotoc County are available
at no charge. Advertising in the map is available to members only, and this
map is the only map distributed by the Chamber.
- Visitor Information Packet Program: Packets are sent yearly to people
who indicate an interest in the Ada Area. Coupons from your business may be
included in these packets.
- Business Directory: All Chamber members are listed, free of charge,
according to classification and again alphabetically. Advertising is available
to Chamber members.
- Chamber Website: The newly designed website offers a vast array of
opportunities to advertise, from video blogs, mini commercials, advertising
banners, and enhanced member listings are just a few of the ways to promote
your business.
- Newsletters: Members receive weekly email blasts to upcoming events,
ribbon cuttings, and happenings in and around the community from other Chamber
members; these email blasts also can be advertised in for a nominal fee
- Bulk Mailing: Members can use the Chamber’s bulk mailing permit at
no charge.
- Ribbon Cuttings/Grand Openings: The Chamber Ambassadors sponsor new
business ribbon cuttings for members of the Chamber. The local newspaper will
publish the event free of charge.
- Business After Hours/Member Mixers: This is another of the many networking
opportunities for the Chamber membership and their guests. Members are invited
to socialize and network with their fellow members. It is the perfect opportunity
to meet other members, make new friends, and establish new business contacts
in a relaxed atmosphere. These events are held quarterly and can be sponsored
at different levels.
